Chris's Instructions:

Noodle boxes
I disassembled the noodle boxes and painted them with the 'shopping bag' paint. When they were dry I stamped a 'background words' stamp on them using gold ink. I cut out the 'stockings' from the Rusty Pickle pattern paper and mounted them onto chipboard and sanded back the edges to create an embellishment. I twisted beads around wire and then around the handle (the bead twisting was a technique learnt from Kate Mason)
Assemble the box, decorate and fill with goodies for a lucky recipient!

CD Tin
I cut out a piece of the Rusty Pickle Pattern Paper to fit the cover of the CD tin and completely decorated it, including machine sewing, ribbon tabs and inking all the edges before I adhered it to the tin.  Next I measured and trimmed pieces of cardstock to fit inside the tin and printed out our favourite family recipes on the cardstock.  I ran them each through the xryon to laminate them and hole punched in the corner to join them all together with a circle clip.  The clip comes undone to add other recipes that I may collect.

Sharing the Joy (layout)
I used a Making Memories edge scrapper to roughen up the edges on the pieces of pattern paper on this layout, inked the edges and then sewed them to the layout.  I also used a bamboo versa color ink cube to ink the Making Memories jigsaw letters and I used a pinecone color to ink around the edges of the letters to give them more depth.

Believe (Layout)
I drew a template for the wavy design I used on this layout on a scrap piece of paper, then I traced it onto the back of a piece of Rusty Pickle paper and cut it out.  I hand stitched a border around the layout using backstitch.  I added jewels to keep with the 'sparkly' theme of the Christmas lights. I cut the stars and angels from the Rusty Pickle pattern paper and used them as accents on the page.

Hanging Card (you better not pout)
I cut the photo to size to fit into the Making Memories frame and adhered it to the cardstock.  I used a black pen to create the dotted line around the frame and I hand stitched the pattern on the outer edge (I used a stitching template for this)  I stamped the words onto cardstock, cut them out and inked around each one and adhered to the frame.  I set some eyelets at the top of the card and attached the ribbon, tying it off at both ends.

Xmas CD Hanger
I adhered the photo to 2/3 of the CD and Rusty Pickle pattern paper to the othe 1/3, then using a knife and glass mat cut around the edge of the CD and discarded the off cuts.  I inked the Making Memories jigsaw letter and adhered it to the CD.  I used rub-ons to complete the word 'xmas' and added the flowers for embellishments.  I used a hot glue gun to keep the ribbon hanger in place on the back of the CD.

Reindeer
I'm always looking for ways to use all my scrapping products even the packaging!  When I saw the pegs that came with all my Lime Tart goodies I started wondering what I could use them for!  It wasn't long before I thought of transforming them into Reindeers!  Luckily I had a third peg at home and I painted them all with the 'shopping bag' Making Memories paint and then painted the round end of one of the pegs for Rudolphs nose.  I cut out some little antlers and a saddle for him from the Rusty Pickle pattern papers, added a couple of eyes and before I knew it a reindeer had appeared!!!  This would be a great little Christmas activity to do with your children!!!
