A wreath step by step
I’d love to show you how I made a wreath using Collections branches.
Step 1
I started by separating the pack of branches and colouring the smaller branches and spare leaves with a light green spray ink. You could also use acrylic paint, or even cover them with patterned paper depending on the look you want.

Step 2
Then I took the larger branches, sprayed them with a darker green ink, and speckled them with a brown ink.

Step 3
When the ink dried, I arranged the larger branches into a circle shape. I basically put the tip of each branch at the tip of an imaginary 5 point star. When I was happy with the arrangement, I used glue sparingly to stick one branch to the next.

Step 4
Then I glued the smaller branches in between the larger branches.

Step 5
I wanted this wreath to go on the front of a card, so I chose some corrugated card, punched a couple of small holes, and fed some red satin ribbon through.

Step 6
Then I tied this ribbon into a small bow. This holds the wreath onto the card. Then I glued the spare leaves into place around the wreath to fill up any gaps.

Step 7
I added a poinsettia flower to the centre of the bow and some adhesive diamonds around the wreath to finish it off.

I’ve made this wreath in a Christmas theme, but I reckon it would look fabulous with a little bird in a nest nestled in the bottom. I’d love to see what everyone can come up with!
