Collections Branches
The Design Team was recently challenged to use Collections Chipboard branches in unique ways.
We all came up with a different idea (eventually!) and I am excited to show you what we did.
Teresa made a gorgeous Wreath for the front of a Christmas Card – stay tuned for step by step instructions on how to create your own coming soon! I can’t wait for that!

Rach made a cute magnet:

Julie tried some cool techniques to make this fabulous tree and branch:

I’ll let Julie tell you all about it:
“For my project I was inspired to try and make a tree. I wanted to try and give the branches a warped distressed look so decided to try giving them a quick soak in a little water. lol it wasn’t quick enough as the pieces seperated into two but after giving them a blast with my heat gun to dry off I had more to play with.
I then gave them all a few swipes with my ink pad to colour them, pinching and distressing them as I was going. Then the fun part of layering them together to form my tree. I started with several of the larger ones then the smaller ones filled in a few of the gaps.
When I was inking them I discovered that I had inked a few on the inner side where they had separated and few glue marks were visible. These areas came out darker so I used a few of these on a card.”

Aren’t they just stunning!?
I also made a tree with mine. Look at these gorgeous papers… you’ll see them in a kit released next week!

Philippa inked her branches and then coated them in distress stickles. Cool!

The Collections branches are a versatile product! You get a heap of branches in 2 different sizes and lots and lots of loose leaves as well. They are also 20% off for the next 2 weeks! So pop one in your next order and have a play!
