Design team product challenge- Purple Onion stamps
For this fortnight’s product challenge Philippa sent us out some Lizziebelle Purple Onion alphabet stamps and here is what the girls have done with them.
Rach has used them on a layout.

She has used the stamps as a whole sheet to add extra layers to the background papers and then punched out circles of the letters to create her title.

Nic has used them on a card

Nic used just the A, B, C, 1, 2 and 3 to stamp a background paper for a teacher end of year thank you card. The thanks sentiment has been coloured with markers to make it stand apart from the other stamping.

Teresa has used her letters to make a set of place cards for her family:

She stamped the names on some patterned paper, then stitched that onto some felt. She has dispensed with the stamp positioner, and gone for a fun higgledy-piggledy look with the letters

And here is a personalised card Teresa has made

She has brought the letters out of the background a bit by colouring them lightly with a white pen:

This is a card that Philippa did a while back. I love how she coloured the letter body with a dark colour.

I was inspired by one of Teresa’s cards from the A la tart kit this month to use the same image on my card.

With my Purple onion letter stamps I keep them as a whole sheet so I have the option to use them as a background like Rach has and when wanting to make a title or a greeting on card I just roughly chop up the letter I want to use.

I love the projects that the girls have come up with for the stamps and how we all ended up colouring in the letter body. Great minds hey.
