Well we’ve had a nice little break from blogging over the Christmas break and now it’s time to get back into the swing of things.

The Lime Tart girls and myself will be posting six days per week hoping to inspire you and tempt you.

First up is a card that I made over the past two weeks – yep it took me that long! The mojo has been lacking over Christmas. Or was it because I was too lazy to grab the sewing machine out of the cupboard?

Stamps: First Kiss, Sentiments #1
Papers: My Mind’s Eye Love Me Do
Punches: Martha Stewart Garden Trellis, Martha Stewart Pop-up butterfly edger (I’ve used the butterfly punch outs and not the border)
Technique: I’ve partially paper pieced the main image and watercoloured the smaller details. I’ve also used a white gel pen for a few highlights. You can see a close up of the paper piecing here:
