cute flowers
I made these cute flowers just for fun to use on my January projects. You could make them out of paper scraps or tissue paper but I used vintage book pages.

They are super quick and easy.
Step 1: I don’t have a flower shaped punch large enough for these, so I start with circles to get a nice round base shape. Punch or cut them out of your paper.

Step 2: Turn them into flowers by cutting notches out in 5 sections evenly spaced around your circle. Pencil them in on the back before cutting if you like. If you have a big flower shaped punch or die then just cut your flowers, 2 per embellishment.

Step 3: Screw them up a little bit, then unfold them and roll the petal edges of one flower in towards the centre. You could roll them over a toothpick or similar.

Step 4: Layer a curled one on top of a flat one, it should look something like this:

You could embellish with your choice of flower centre, but I used the huge buttons that came in January’s kit, stitched witha length of twine adhered to the back of the button.
