Paper Roses
I thought I would show you how I made these rustic paper roses today.

Step 1: cut a 1″ strip from patterned paper.

Step 2: fold lengthwise twice, or roll it up like shown

Step3 3: twist in opposite directions from each end so you end up with a spiral like below.

Step 4: prepare a base for your flower by squeezing glue into a circle on a scrap of cardstock. Doing it now allows the glue to start getting tacky by the time you are ready for it

Step 5: start to twist your spiral into a snail shape, forming a circle while maintaining the twists already in the strip.

Step 6: when you have your ’snail’ shaped how you like it, place it on the glue circle and hold it in place until it stays by itself.
Step 7: trim the excess cardstock off

Adhere to your project!
