Rolled Twill flowers
Hiya, Tanya here. I thought I’d show you how I made these rolled flowers using the twill from this month’s full tart kit.
You may remember Nicole’s step by step where she showed us how to make paper roses here. Well, this is very similar
All you need is a circle from a scrap piece of cardstock, twill and some strong liquid glue.
Step 1. Place a small dot of glue in the centre of the circle.
Step 2. Fold the twill lengthways
Step 3. Twist the folded twill
Step 4. Shape into a circle
Step 5. Once you have a small circle, apply to the glue and hold in place for a few seconds until it stays
Step 6. Once it is glued in place, keep twisting the twill to form a circle
Step 7. Add more glue along the way, and hold in place
Step 8. Repeat this process until you have a size you are happy with
Step 9. Trim off the excess twill and apply extra glue to hold down the end
Step 10. Trim off the excess cardstock and your flower is complete
Now the flower is ready to be added to your project. I used mine as centres on the canvas flowers.

Awesome Tanya! I’ve tried these with thin fabric – would never have thought to try them with twill! They look amazing!!

Its on my to do list. I love the look of these and with my cuttlebug dies I should be able to rustle up some much nicer scrapbooking embellishments to use.
