Trimming your stamps

The Greeting Farm & CC Designs stamps that we stock are rubber mounted on foam all ready to stick to your acrylic block and stamp. You can use them as they are, but you may find that if you aren’t careful then you might get a little bit of extra ink of the excess rubber and it will ruin your final stamped image. This is easily fixed by trimming the image and I’ll show you how.

I’ve selected TGFs Princess Ava:

This is the image straight out of the packet, and you can stamp it like this, but it is so easy to trim it.

I use Kai scissors as I bought them many, many years ago.

See how closely I have trimmed? Just do nice straight and sharp cuts.

Throw it on your acrylic block.

Ink it up.

Stamp it.

I’ll be back later with a card using this sweet image.
