I started of punching out 5 ovals with my Stampin up oval punch. As you will see both sides of the paper using one that is double sided will look better.

I then folded the oval leaving a small portion of one side of the pattern showing.

Once I had done this too all five I then turned them over and folded the folded edge into a point. The pointy end helps with the arranging of them into the flower shape.

With each petal, pinch up the sides and then stick to a piece of scrap to form the flower.

Once you have the five petals stuck down trim away the edges of the scrap and you have a flower waiting to be embellished with a button and added to your next project.

If you try out these flowers I would love to see them.

I really enjoyed making a three fold card with my May Half tart kit so I didn’t just stop at the front.

I tried to match up my Copic colours to my kit papers and the first three match up really well.

Next time you make a card don’t forget to do the backside and insides, as well as the front.
