It feels like only yesterday we were celebrating the year 2000! Now, we are starting to get in to some of those years that were talked about in sci-fi films of the 80s & 90s. Unfortunately, I don’t see hoverboards from Back to The Future in our near future! But we only have another 50 years before we get Rosey from The Jetsons to clean our houses – now that is something to look forward to.

But in the meantime, we should scrap our moments from 2012 for those in 2062 to enjoy and giggle at our outdated technology. Anyone remember tiny black & white TVs that you had to stand up and turn on? Or even funnier – remember the first remote controls that were connected to the TV by a cord that everyone would trip over? What about in the 80s where the bigger your rock box was – the better? Remember cassette tapes and winding the tape back on with a pencil? Now we have tiny iPods that can hold 1000s of songs! What will we have in another 30 years?

How about getting some of those memories down now? We have plenty of kits this month for you to choose from. We have our standard three January kits, but I’ve also found some leftover papers and embellishments to make up a handful of additional kits. These are using papers and embellishments from older kits, but remixed into new ones and with a few new embellishments thrown in. Take a look…
