Here is my card which follows the sketch pretty closely.  I’ve used a pinwheel (yes, again!), and my sentiment is actually a chipboard button that came in my latest pack of goodies.

Kerryn has used the November Full Tart to create her card. Isn’t the colour combo and that butterfly so pretty!?

Colleen also used a butterfly – they are super cute on cards.  I love your stitching Colleen!

A super fab card by Nic, also using that pastel palette.  Nic’s colouring always astounds me!

Philippa used a stamped image as her focus. She stamped using Old Paper Distress ink and then coloured over the top with Copic Markers, adding some highlights with a white chalk pencil. It’s beautiful!

Renee used the A la Tarte for her card.  The sentiment stamp is one of the many great stamps in the Darkroom Door set.

Now for the fun part.  Those who know me will know that I also sew.  A while back we gave away a stamp tote on the blog.  Well we are about to do the same again.  I’ve made 2 matching simple totes from BasicGrey material.  Each will hold about 20 single polymer stamps comfortably.  They are a great way to store all your stamps, I have one for each company and grab the bundle I want when I’m stamping.  Besides, who doesn’t love something cute on their stamp desk right?

Although I had an enormous amount of beautiful paper, buttons, ribbons and assorted bling to play with from this month’s A la Tarte kit, I found myself without any ideas what to do with it all - it happens to us all unfortunately, especially when life gets a spanner thrown in the works. Crafting makes me happy, so instead of giving up on the idea of “me time” I gave the sketch idea a go, what did I have to lose, right? So here’s my sketch:

And here’s what I came up with – two completely different layouts from one simple sketch. And remember, sketches never go out of date, and can always be flipped and shuffled about or interpreted however you like.
