September layout sketch

Here is this month’s layout sketch prepared by Nicole:

Both of these layouts were made using September’s A la Tarte kit, which was snapped up very quickly this month, and has sold out. The only way to guarantee a kit and avoid disappointment is to subscribe.

Then Julie created this layout using the September ‘09 Half Tart:

November layout sketch

Here is the layout sketch we had for November:

I love seeing what people come up with when they are given a simple sketch to follow.Â Here is what Bernie came up with:

The circle is stitched, and she managed to include some journaling:

This circle is also stitched, and Melanie has used the felt letters from the Half Tart kit for the title:

and added heaps of interest by journaling all the way around the page and scattering just a few embellishments:

This type of layout is brilliant when the photo you want to scrap is small and you have just a few embellishments and scraps of paper. Lovely work ladies!
